Ashley Brunt, LCSW
Ashley holds a Masters of Social Work and is fully licensed.
Making the decision to start therapy is difficult. Will it be awkward? How do I talk to a stranger about my greatest insecurities or things that I have never told anyone? I understand how scary it can be to make that jump, and I am so happy you have made the choice to start that journey.
I completed my Master’s Degree in Social Work from Indiana University South Bend in 2014, and have been a fully licensed social worker since 2018. I have experience with severe, persistent mental illness, acute psychiatric needs, dementia, substance use disorders, and mood and anxiety disorders, in settings ranging from long term care facilities, community mental health, health centers serving the underserved, and private practice.
I believe in using a strengths based approach, while utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, acceptance and commitment therapy and solution focused therapy in order to help my clients reach their goals. I am passionate about working with adults and adolescents, age 14+, in order to navigate issues of depression, anxiety, and trauma. In particular, I enjoy working with women to navigate life transitions, find their value, and be the best version of themselves.
